As new policies have been introduced and apply over the google play store which is called Metadata policy. Google Play is taking it too seriously nowadays, and taking action on several apps.
You might have noticed the several apps have been removed and discarded from the stores because they were all victimized by this policy.
Most of the time we are unable to understand these policies, and we lose our project, money, and sometimes google console.
Let me understand you what is that in simple words: –
- To not use Repeat words in your app title, a short description, and long description;
Well, there was a good time in Google play store, when a long description was not be taken too strictly than that of today. Now we can’t repeat the words, like if we have an app whose app description may contain like words “VPN and VPN” “VPN VPN” this can be a cause of the violation. And your app can be removed, rejected or in swear case, it can be suspended as well. - To use well-written and accurate descriptions;
Always try to write well and be relevant to your app and use only white ASO keywords. Any single word which may not be part of your app or game can because of directly Suspension, rejection, or removal of your project, and all of your hard-working money and time will be like zero. Last time one of my client submitted an app and it was mistakenly written as “Internet booster” and it was simply an internet speed tester, and the result was app suspension by the Google play store.
- To Translate your app store listing in a well good manner;
it is always been a good one for getting and boosting organic download of your games and apps to translate their store listing title, a short description, and long description into several languages. And Google play strongly recommends translating it from the experts or native or they also provide paid services for that. But usually, people don’t have a budget to translate from the expert of from Google play, so they use Google translate and due to lots of bugs in Google translator while translating it may change the whole context of the app function, or may repeat the words like “Download Download” “For For” or same like this, which can because of rejection, removal of your game or app.
